Energy Considerations for Divisible Load Processing

SpeakerMaciej Drozdowski

In this presentation energy consumption in divisible computations will be analyzed. Divisible load theory applies to data-parallel computations with communication delays. A simple model of energy consumption will be proposed. We will analyze the interaction of system parameters determining energy consumption. It is demonstrated that energy can be saved by parallel processing.
