CryptAlpes

Created in 2002, CryptAlpes is a research group that gathers members from four institutions in Rhône-Alpes (Grenoble and Lyon, France) with common interests and strong cooperations in the field of Cryptography and Security. CryptAlpes addresses mathematical aspects of cryptography (Institut Fourier), optimized implementation of finite field computations (LMC-IMAG) and security aspects of distributed and peer-to-peer computations (ID-IMAG).

• ID-IMAG laboratory

  Created in 1999, the ID-IMAG laboratory conducts research on concepts, algorithms, tools and software for parallel and distributed high performance computing. Within CryptAlpes, research in security and cryptography are focused on grid technologies and meta-computing (or global computing). Two key problems are studied: safe deployment of an application on the Internet and certificate for the correct execution of a program on a remote untrusted platform.

• LMC-IMAG laboratory

  Within MOSAIC team and in the framework of the CryptAlpes group, the LMC IMAG laboratory conducts research on finite field efficient implementations and their applications to cryptography and coding.
